
The 2011 Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS), was held with great fanfare at the Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, Hall 2, Hall 3 and Nangang Exhibition Hall from March 1 to March 6. Held once every two years, this year's TIMTOS was the biggest of the 15 shows so far. A total of 928 vendors from 20 countries around the world have booked 5,152 booths. The Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS) is one of the annual highlights of the Asian machine tool industry. TIMTOS 2009 (The 14th Taipei Int’l Machine Tool Show) wrapped up dazzling success March 7 with acclaim from across the machine industry. It was hold from March 2nd to 7th, 2009 at Taipei World Trade Center (TWTC) Exhibition Hall1, Hall2, Hall 3 and Nangang Exhibition Hall. The 895 exhibitors occupied 4,871 booths, 26% and 75% increases respectively on last year’s show. In addition TIMTOS 2009 welcomed nearly 39,000 domestic visitors, a 37% increase on the 2007 show. The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) co-organized the “2009 Taipei International Machine Tool Show”(TIMTOS) which was held at the TWTC Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1, 2, 3 and Nangang Exhibition Hall, from the 2nd ~ 7th March. The number of exhibitors has been growing steadily, making this year's show the biggest ever. Since 1981, Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS) 2007 has been held for the 13th time. This year, it was held from March 12th to 17th at TWTC Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 3. The biennial global gala of machine tool technology spotlighted a record of 713 exhibitors – 10.5% increase over the last show. Exhibitors from both home and abroad used a record 2,778 booths-another 4.3 % increase over the previous edition in 2005. This year’s exhibition was held at the TWTC Exhibition Hall 1, 2, and 3. Lots of world leading domestics and foreigner manufacturers participated in this event, and displayed many machine related products from medal cutting and forming machine, machine accessories, cutting tools, to measuring equipment. Aside from the numerous meetings were arranged to discuss purchases, formal discussions were held to explain market conditions in Russia, Brazil, India, Malaysia, Japan, and Turkey, and the future development of the industry.
